Pick a Project

In an effort to honor the children we serve, we select volunteers who want to provide hope, love, respect and dignity. Help us to fulfill our motto, every child deserves a childhood.

To get ideas or to see what volunteers are doing at the Salt Lake Christmas Box House, see our Pick a Project list below. To learn more about how you or your group can get involved, please fill out the form below.

Christmas Tree Decorating

Provide the decorations and decorate a monthly- or seasonally-themed Christmas Tree. Decoration planning and prep work are done off-site ahead of time. Volunteers come on-site to take down the previous month’s decorations and then decorate with their own. Volunteers must be 10+ to decorate a tree, and decorations must be up within a few days of end or beginning of month. This project is limited to 8 volunteers total for on-site decorating.

This project can be done alongside a donation drive, using collected donations as decorations for the tree that will be used in the Christmas Box Resource Rooms at the end of the month.

Bulletin Board and Door Decorating

Create off-site artwork for The Christmas Box House bulletin boards or door decorations with seasonal themes or themes that promote healthy living, positive life skills and education. Drop off completed project at The Christmas Box House.

Eagle Scout Projects
