Pick a Project

In an effort to honor the children we serve, we select volunteers who want to provide hope, love, respect and dignity. Help us to fulfill our motto, every child deserves a childhood. To get ideas or to see what volunteers are doing at The Ogden Christmas Box House, see our Pick a Project list below. Host a Fundraiser or Donation Drive for new items

Organize a fundraiser or drive for approved items. Collect donations of NEW items off-site and deliver to The Christmas Box House. Specific items needed will be determined with the Community Outreach Representative as shelter needs are constantly changing. To learn more, click here.

Christmas Tree Decorating

Provide the decorations and decorate a monthly- or seasonally-themed Christmas Tree. Decoration planning and prep work are done off-site ahead of time. Volunteers come on-site to take down the previous month’s decorations and then decorate with their own. Volunteers must decorate tree within a few days of end or beginning of month and this project is limited to 8 volunteers total for on-site decorating.

This project can be done alongside a donation drive, using collected donations as decorations for the tree that will be used in the Christmas Box Resource Rooms at the end of the month.

Door Decorating

Create off-site artwork for The Ogden Christmas Box House door decorations with seasonal themes or themes that promote healthy living, positive life skills and education. Drop off completed project at The Christmas Box House.

Eagle Scout Projects

Donation drives for NEW items are our greatest need. Specific items will be determined. They are constantly changing. Additional special projects are occasionally needed as well. To learn more, click here.

One-Time Volunteer Form

Some of our best projects come from volunteers with a passion to share their talents, hobbies and skills with our charity. Are you an avid gardener? A hot air balloon pilot? A Renaissance Fair jouster? We want to learn more about you!
